Functional patterns is a movement protocol designed to help humans move the way they were intended to, in the process often alleviating any injuries or physical problems they may be suffering from. the movements are based off the ‘big four’: standing, walking, running and throwing. implementing a specific, individualised movement protocol using this approach is the best way to address physical imbalances. ongoing sessions of functional patterns protocols are advised for best outcomes, just like going to the gym or watering the garden. often these physical imbalances can be deeply rooted in your myofascial system and neurology, so can take repetitive ‘reprogramming’ to overcome. This is a one-on-one tailored session for 60 minutes.

Functional Movement Coach
Small Group Session (6 max)
The group setting for Functional Patterns is designed to be a more affordable option for those wanting to utilise Functional Patterns. it can be useful to have the support of others to help motivate you and keep you accountable on your journey. This is a 60 minute session and it is suitable for existing clients only, who have already completed an Initial Individual Session with Dr Xanthe.

Ice Bath
Cold exposure has in recent years captured the spotlight in the health world. It has numerous benefits have been consistently demonstrated, including improved thermoregulation, energy, stress management, metabolism and even immunity. More commonly benefits have included reduced muscle soreness following exercise, reduced inflammation and improved muscle performance. Use our Ice Bath for up to 15 minutes in one session.

Infrared light is a huge factor contributing to our health that is often underestimated or missed. A 30 minute session in our Infrared Sauna provides these benefits, while you are sitting in up to 65 degree heat. Research has shown that infrared sauna therapy can have positive effects on cardiovascular health, stress reduction and mental health, muscle recovery, pain relief and can also aid with detoxification.

Utilise our Ice Bath and our Infrared Sauna for a 45 minute session to maximise your health potential. Periodically exposing yourself to more extreme temperatures for short periods can help to boost blood flow and muscle recovery, and reduce inflammation throughout the body.
